How much does podcast editing cost?
$50–$400 is the range sellers actually publish for this on Fiverr — we haven't independently verified it yet.
What it costs to hand a messy two-host episode to someone else.
Fiverr's seller tiers are public and so are their criteria. What we can't tell you yet is whether paying up actually buys you more here — that needs us to commission the work, and we haven't.

Can you just do it yourself?
We haven't assessed this one yet. When we do, the question is whether the people reaching for a template are the same people who would otherwise hire someone — if they aren't, a big DIY audience doesn't actually compete for this work.
What a ranking here would turn on
The hard case is two hosts, crosstalk, one bad mic and three false starts. The ranking will hand that same recording to every tier and compare loudness compliance, filler removal and turnaround.
Four things worth settling first
None of these need us to have tested anything. They are the questions that decide whether the thing you get back is usable, and they are all cheaper to ask now than to argue about later.
- 1Agree a loudness target in writing. -16 LUFS stereo suits most platforms and removes an entire class of argument.
- 2Send a sample so both sides agree what “cleaned up” means before money changes hands.
- 3Confirm turnaround is measured from when you send the file, not from when they start.
- 4Ask whether intro, outro and music placement are included or extra.
“how much does podcast editing cost” is not one audience
Our keyword pipeline strips these out before judging demand, because they are not people looking to hire. What is left after stripping them is the share we actually price for.

We have no ranking to offer here yet, so the honest thing is to send you to the marketplace rather than pretend otherwise. Anything outside $50–$400 is worth a second look before ordering.
